These photos were taken in a photo studio with my Canon 400D DSLR camera and the other equipment that I will list in the technologies evaluation questions. About half of these photos were experiments which I would then further develop in photoshop. Some of these were trying to make a ghost like effect with the models arm while taking the photos over a period of a few seconds. However based on my drafts I will use the non experimental photos and photoshop them to be black and white, although the colour of the models necklace/pendant in the photo would be quite nice in colour. Also seeing that the images are going to be stills from a upcoming film that the model is starring in I may have the necklace in colour to almost act as an enigma code which will have the audience questioning it's purpose and use within the film. Also if I use a photo with the sword prop I will most likely have the blood splattered on the sword in full colour of possibly full colour but tinted grey to keep it in the theme of black and white. However the blood can also act as another enigma code within the narrative structure that the model is starring in which is called 'Possession'.

Font Mood Board

These various fonts are some options I may consider for my Masthead font and other various conventions throughout my hybrid genre magazine. A font that stands out is the last font I used as it'll allow me to have my masthead in a large font size so it spans the page and so it's quite tall so it doesn't appear like a banner at the top of my front cover. Based on the size ratios of this font I'll most likely have the font size at roughly around 90-110. In addition to this to make my masthead stand out more i'll most likely have the "in" of the masthead in a different font and possibly a different colour to make it stand out. This will also make the other two words of the masthead stand out on shelving. Thus telling the target audience that the magazine is about Music in Motion. This will be used to attract the target audience to look at the magazine in further detail.
